Unauthorized use of mojcabs website or mojcabs driver app may give rise to a claim for damages and/or be a criminal offense.
Terms and conditions
If you own a car and want to drive it, you must register two account one as driver and other as operator and you must agree both terms and conditions
During onboarding, you have to upload several documents, you must provide valid documents.
After your documents are reviewed by our team, you will be allowed to drive your own car or car of some other operator.
If you drive for other operator, you and operator should mutually decide payment terms, Mojcabs won’t be involved in this and won’t be liable for any loss due to violation of mutually decided terms.
You can be associated with at most one operator, but you can drive any car of that operator.
After trip completes, you will be shown amount you need to collect from customer, you can collect that amount through any payment app or in cash once you collect that payment you must click payment collected button. By clicking payment collected / cash collected button you assert that you have collected payment from customer.
When trip starts you must ask OTP to customer and enter that in app. OTP must be entered only after customer is inside your car. For distance based trips you will be asked correct odometer reading.
Similarly for distance based trips, you must enter, end odometer reading after confirming with customer, distance based trips also require OTP to end trip.
For shared trips you have to reach customers pickup location and call them. You must wait at least 10 minutes before cancelling the trip.
When you collect cash from customer it will show as transaction with negative amount in your app, when your account balances reaches certain threshold your account will be blocked, you can complete your pending trips but you won’t get any new trips. For unblocking your account you must clear outstanding amount.
You should not cancel trip without any genuine reason. If your cancellation rate passes certain threshold your account will be blocked. Additional payment might be required for unblocking your account.
For shared trips you must pick up every customer from location specified in app, and drop every customer at drop location specified in the app.
Special Instructions:
The Driver shall indemnify Mojcabs from and against and in respect of any or all liabilities, losses, charges and expenses (including legal fees and costs on a full indemnity basis) claims, demands, actions and proceedings which Mojcabs may incur or sustain directly or indirectly from or by any reason of or in relation to the use or proposed use of the Services by the Driver and shall pay such sums on demand on Mojcabs.
Mojcabs does not assure a complete sustainability of its Service and shall not be held responsible or liable for the same, in any manner.
Mojcabs shall endeavor to respond to your issues within a reasonable time of your reporting the same and endeavor to resolve it at the earliest possible. It is hereby clarified that issues are resolved on severity basis, and certain may be resolved earlier than the other. However, Mojcabs shall not be liable for any damages or losses in the event that you are not satisfied with any such resolution.
IN ADDITION, AND WITHOUT LIMITING THE FOREGOING, TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, IN NO EVENT WILL Mojcab’s AGGREGATE LIABILITY ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH THESE USER TERMS OR THE SERVICES RENDERED HEREUNDER, WHETHER IN CONTRACT, TORT (INCLUDING NEGLIGENCE, PRODUCT LIABILITY, OR OTHER THEORY), WARRANTY, OR OTHERWISE, EXCEED THE AMOUNT OF Rs. 400/- (Rupees Four Hundred only).
